Hey guess who got a subscription??? 
Yes since I come so often to dA (11 years, wow!) I thought it would be good to dedicate myself a bit more to this community.
Facebook just doesn't work well enough for me, though I'm aware other artists find it pretty good. Anyway, I prefer to focus in one thing at the time. If I try to promote my work in every single social media I'm not getting any work done
Right now I'm living in Nottingham, doing my Illustration projects.
I've decided to resume my Mirror World project because I know that what I really want is to pursue a freelance illustration career and this is what I consider to be my most wholehearted work. Besides, I really enjoy doing it.
I don't usually add any descriptions because I prefer it to be open to interpretation.
These are some of the ones I am most happy with so far:
I like how the Black&White works, it gives essential information and the colors become more focused/highlighted. I may add more complex coloring to my next works but for now it will be like this.
Our Sin (Reverse) is already available for print. The rest will also be available very shortly.
I was working on Fighters Mix and was thinking about drawing at least 100 characters but it seems that this was taking more time than I thought. With some characters I would spend more than 2 hours drawing them. 1- because I'm a perfectionist. 2- because some are really complex, and 3- for lack of references on the internet (some of these games are really old).

Being a waiter sucks. So I quit.
Now I'm fully dedicating myself to my illustrations and personal development
I've been spending a lot of time trying to heal myself and facing my demons. I didn't win yet but I'm not planning on giving up.
And while I'm at it, why not try and do awesome art?
Right now I'm taking the assignments at the Oatley Academy of Illustration and Concept Art. It's an online course/community. and if you're interested you can check it here
The CAPCOM FIGHTING TRIBUTE has arrived and this time I'm sending my entries. It's just a shame that I cannot send characters from Marvel VS Capcom or else I would apply with Shadow and Shadowlady. But at least I can send Guy and I'm now preparing another character as well.
IMAGINE DRAGONS has also launched a contest for the design of the next album cover. I really hope I'm still on time to participate in this one too.

Busy busy busy.
So my life in London so far is still a big struggle.
I'm in the catering industry for now, working in many places such as the Business Design Centre, Parkside hospital, H10 Hotel, and also today, at the International Coffee Organization (ICO).
This is a part time job which will help me raise some money to rent a house of my own with my brother before the end of this year. It's a miracle the amount of work I've been able to do with this 3GB dual core broken keyboard laptop. I feel like Superman, don't even have a table to work on forschristsake but I'll keep surviving until I get money for something better.
Apart from that I'm doing a freelance work as an environment designer for a theatre play which is preety exciting.
It's called Ramayana, one of, or even probably the most famous hindu story (somewhat as famous as the bible) which tells the story of Rama, a young prince who goes into a great adventure to rescue his lover Sita from the clutches of the demon Ravana.
Like the Mahābhārata, the Ramayana is not just a story: it presents the teachings of ancient Hindu sages (Vedas) in narrative allegory, interspersing philosophical and devotional elements.
So as you can imagine, this is of great interest to me since I have this ceaseless passion for the esoteric and the hollistic. Also it's interesting to be around indian people and its culture, it's amazing the similarities we find so far away yet so close.
So that's it, I'm trying to sketch some things when I can, but between the part time job and the freelance stuff I have little time for my own thing but I'll update as soon as I can.

So I finally moved to England and I'm now living with my bro in Brixton (south London). I'm still trying to believe that I'm actually here, although I'm trying to find resemblenses with Portugal everything still feels so different and alien.
A lot of different people yeah so it's true when they say it's like a cocktail of cultures, which is preety good, also because I can notice that people don't care so much about how you look, for them it's totally normal so they don't stare at you, don't ask questions and everyone is in their own vibe.
Now that I'm here it's time to get to know the places, the people and continue focusing in my concept art improvement. I'm confident that I'll find a job preety soon.
Well I can't say too much from now, still struggling to get a grasp of this new reality XD
